Gabriel Moovride New Ambassador

We are very happy to announce the integration into our team of ambassador France Gabriel, aged 11! He practices Street inline skating!

We were of course seduced by his level, but also by his beautiful energy, his smile. Furthermore, Gabriel is very surrounded by a family supporting him and also David, creator of Planète Ride, with whom we are going to do a co-development! We will tell you about it in this article! Let the adventure begin!

Let's talk about Gabriel! the shared passion for riding!

It was at the age of 7 that Gabriel started roller skating on DIY modules in the family home in St Étienne de St Geoirs in Isère.

The virus immediately spread within the house. Since then, the family has traveled across France to discover the best skateparks: Gap, Dijon, Nantes, Montpellier, Baillargues, etc.

His various travels allowed Gabriel to share his passion and make meaningful encounters and build strong friendships.

From 2021, Dijon becomes an important stage in Gabriel's development. He regularly participates in courses organized by the AMsports club.

Licensed to the CRASH club (Gap) for 3 seasons, Gabriel discovered a dynamic and welcoming community there. Whether for sessions with friends or training with Roman Abrate and Mathias Wecxsteen, it’s always a pleasure to ride at Gap!

In the summer of 2023, Gabriel met Team Planète Ride, a downhill mountain bike team, during BMX training on a pump track. At the end of this memorable session, the link between our disciplines became evident. Gabriel therefore joined the team in order to participate in the promotion of our disciplines. In addition to benefiting from an indoor skatepark, this allows Gabriel to share his passion with new riding partners.

Who is Team Planète Ride? David DANTHON, creator of the team, tells us:

“Our team, which was created in 2011, competes in enduro and downhill mountain biking (BMX in training), in regional and national championships.

We have kids ride with Masters in order to promote the exchange of experience, to present them in better conditions in the various competitions.

Drawing on our experience with several regional and national titles, we have also competed in European Cups and World Series.

Our partners have been able to trust us and maintain a strong relationship throughout these years.

We met Gabriel on a training pump track. After speaking with him and his parents, I wanted to integrate him into the team.

Our sports being cousins, I thought it would be wise to give him a helping hand with our various partners, and to make our Skatepark available to him for his indoor training.

The multidisciplinary sporting exchange creates a virtuous circle for our young people, the key to their progress will be work and above all good humor.

Planete ride includes 5 kids and 4 masters, 3 girls in the workforce

For the third consecutive year, Gabriel is participating in the national circuit. After finishing in 3rd place in 2021/2022, he won the title of French U12 champion in 2022/2023. Gabriel participates in the following stages: Nantes, Dijon, Lyon, Rennes and Gap.

Passionate about outdoor activities and board sports, Gabriel likes to try other disciplines: skiing, wakeboarding, BMX, etc. activities that are shared with the family!

His dream: to stay in Woodward…

His desire: to grow riding sports in France!

Gabriel's agenda: DIJ'CONTEST in Dijon on December 9 and 10, 2023! We are sponsor of the event and we will have 4 ambassadors at this event!
